A privately owned practice close to Hobart is looking for an additional vet to join their team. Experienced vets and confident new or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

The practice sees a caseload of 99% small animal work, with the remainder being a mix of chickens, goats, sheep, cows and horses. If mixed practice is your forte, the large animal service offered by the practice can be expanded.
This position is flexible and can be either full or part-time. The specific hours and conditions of work can be tailored for the right applicant.
The clinic is open from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 12 pm on Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays and public holidays. There are no after-hours duties required.
The ideal candidate:
– Has some clinical experience (although confident new grads are also welcome to apply);
– Has excellent communication skills with a good bedside manner;
– Shows an enthusiastic attitude with an ability and desire to learn;
– Enjoys working as part of a team or independently if required.
