A great opportunity has become available for a new or recent graduate vet to join a practice in Geelong!

The position will commence in 2024.

The successful vet will join a friendly team of five vets and 12 nurses/support staff. The team provide comprehensive care at high standards.

The employer recognises that new graduate vets are the future of the industry. As such, new graduates will receive support and mentorship with a new graduate program in place.

The successful applicant will join a team of 4 vets and 11 nurses/support staff.

The ideal graduate will be kind and compassionate, with the ability to relate well with clients. Applicants should work well within a team, strive to deliver gold standard care while being adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced clinic.

The clinic has all new equipment, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house IDEXX pathology and dental machine, x-ray, microscope, Tonopen, in-house coagulopathy machine, anaesthetic monitoring and more! There are three consulting rooms with lovely views, a separate theatre and a treatment room.

Sponsorship (work permit) available for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

The practice is located an hour west of Melbourne’s CBD, close to all amenities. Situated just 30 minutes from the Surf Coast, there are plenty of beautiful beaches, stunning nature walks and cafes.
