A privately-owned practice would like to employ a qualified and experienced vet nurse to join the team.
The successful applicant will join a team of passionate, experienced vets and nurses who thrive and learn in a relaxed, friendly environment. The team balance quality care and enjoyment at work.
The ideal nurse for the role will be qualified with great attention to detail and the ability to use initiative. Nurses should be able to work both within a team and independently.
Daily duties include co-consults, monitoring anaesthetics, assisting in the surgical and dental theatre, radiograph, in-house bloods, taking blood samples, placing IV catheters, managing inpatients, reception duties and more. Nurses support vets at a ratio of 3:1.
The practice is technology-focused and well-equipped with CR x-ray, dental x-ray, video otoscope and more. The practice sees two mobile ultrasonographers.
The practice is located on the stunning Sunshine Coast, just a ten minute walk from the beach.
