A well-established, progressive practice is seeking a GP veterinarian to become part of their supportive and dynamic team!

The start date is very flexible during 2024 or early 2025.

The successful candidate will join a multi-vet team. Vets are supported by highly skilled nurses, and there is a fantastic culture. The team have experience ranging from two to twenty years.

The vet will mainly see small animals with a growing exotics caseload and some wildlife. They also do a lot of work with rescue organisations.

The practice is continuing to expand due to a popular following amongst clients, rescue groups, strong networks, and an excellent community reputation.

A full time role will consist of 40 hours per week worked across four days. Weekends are shared 1:3 or 1:4.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

The hospital has all the equipment you could want and need, including ultrasound, digital x-ray, in-house laboratory, blood machines, ventilators, patient monitors, active heating devices, a separate cat ward and more. The practice is an ISFM cat-friendly accredited hospital.

The local area boasts natural beauty and fantastic weather. There are many beautiful beaches, stunning national parks, and great camping spots. It is located a few hours north of Brisbane, close to the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef.
