A large 24-hour teaching and referral hospital in Asia has an opportunity for a Board-Certified Anesthesiology Specialist to join their team.
This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of veterinary clinical service in one of the most vibrant cities in the world.
The ideal candidate will be available to commence work between September & November 2024.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively with an international team of specialists including dermatology, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, neurology, surgery, oncology, ophthalmology, anesthesiology and pain management, as well as experienced primary care and emergency clinicians.
No after hours work required.
This role is full time, consisting of a 4 day work week. Clinic hours are 8 AM – 7 PM.
Responsibilities of the role include:
– Managing a diverse and challenging client population.
– Developing, reviewing and ensuring department protocols are consistent with current best practices.
– Providing training and guidance for juniors and the vet nurse team.
– Clinical teaching on topics including patient stabilization, workup and treatment; time management; veterinary economics; and client service and communication.
