Do you have a passion for small animal surgery and/or medicine, and are looking to join a supportive and well-established practice?

This is a sought after opportunity for a small animal veterinary surgeon to join a practice in Gloucestershire. The team pride themselves in their positive workplace culture and state-of-the-art facilities.

The current team comprises three (FTE) vets, two experienced registered veterinary nurses, two student veterinary nurses and a practice manager (RVN).

Vets at the practice have a keen interest in surgery. The employer welcomes applicants who want to build on their surgery or medicine skills and would fully support training in this.

This is a full-time role. The rota consists of a four-day week, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings seeing emergency appointments only.

The practice values the importance of staff well-being, closing every day for lunch to ensure everyone receives an uninterrupted break. They aim to get vets off home by 4:30 pm unless working the evening surgery.

This RCVS General Practice approved practice is well-equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities such as digital x-ray machines, compressed air powered dental tools, an in-house laboratory and more, allowing them to deliver the best service to their clients and their pets. The practice is also in the process of adding laparoscopy equipment.

There is spacious accommodation available should it be required.
