A large 24-hour referral hospital in Hong Kong is seeking a veterinarian with experience in oncology to join its international team of specialists and clinicians.

This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of veterinary clinical service and education in one of the most vibrant cities in the world.

The hospital houses specialists in dermatology, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, emergency and critical care, internal medicine, neurology, surgery, oncology, ophthalmology, anesthesiology and pain management, as well as experienced primary care and emergency clinicians.

Details of the role include:

- Providing oncology services as well as excellent client and patient care.

- Communicating and liaising effectively with clinicians and nurses working within other departments to ensure continuity of case care.

- Assisting in the clinical teaching of visiting veterinary students may also be required.

This is a full time position entailing a 4-day work week with 11-hour shifts. There is no on-call duty required.

Annual base salary range starts at US $270,000 per year (approximately AUS $407,000 per year) depending on skills, qualifications and experience.

The practice offers CPD allowance and annual leave, 17 days of public holiday leave, medical and life insurance and professional indemnity cover.

The employer is happy to assist with license and visa applications, as well as provide a relocation allowance (if applicable).

Applicants must be registered or eligible to register with the Hong Kong Veterinary Surgeons Board and possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent.
