An exciting opportunity has become available for a vet with soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery experience to join a busy, multi-clinic, small animal practice in Hong Kong.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Deputy Director and Chief Veterinary Surgeon to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the surgery floors. This includes training of junior staff and assisting in the planning, structure, organisation and operation of the surgery floors.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of clinical experience and has (or is working towards) a surgical certificate or equivalent.
The practice employs over 25 veterinarians, 25 vet nurses and a large team of customer service and support staff.
The hospital is very well equipped, with an in-house laboratory, state of the art digital radiography, Doppler ultrasound, ECG, endoscopy/bronchoscopy, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, separate dog, cat and exotics wards and three consulting room. They have recently added an underwater treadmill for rehabilitation.
They offer a full range of services, from preventative medicine to a 24-hour emergency service and a full range of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. In addition, they have critical care facilities and an isolation ward. There are also behavioural consultations twice a week.
In-house CPD is provided, and special interests are encouraged.
Salary:
HK$90,000 per month plus bonuses
Approximately AUD $205,000 P.A. plus bonuses
