Want to join a mixed practice that has been purpose built and equipped with optimal veterinary care in mind?

A clinic in regional Victoria is seeking a vet to join their multi-vet team!

Work alongside a supportive team that loves coming to work and enjoys making a difference every day.

The practice is open to hearing from vets interested in a 100% small animal role or a mixed practice role. The team see small animals, sheep, alpacas, goats, horses and cattle (mainly beef, very little dairy) as well as working with a local wildlife park. One of the current vets is happy to train others in this area. In addition to this, the team works with a local shelter.

The hours are flexible, and the role can be full or part-time. Typically, full time vets work a four-day week, however, the employer is open to fewer hours across longer days if desired. On-call is one weeknight a month and a maximum of 1 in 4 weekends.

The practice is fully-equipped with IDEXX machines, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound and more.

The employer is willing to assist with a work visa (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

The town is less than 1 1/2 hours from Melbourne and offers a great variety of restaurants, a multitude of sport, social and cultural activities, and excellent schools. Access to Melbourne CBD is easy, with regular train services and quick driving routes.
