An opportunity has become available for an experienced vet to join a 7-vet practice located in Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs. This is a progressive, family-orientated practice with a friendly clientele.
The position can be full or part-time. A full time role will consist of a nine-day fortnight. Vets will be required to participate in a 1 in 2 Saturday roster, with one set weekday off each week.
The successful applicant will join a dedicated team who all like to learn and develop their skills. There is a wide range of experience levels in the team, from senior vets to recent graduates. The team are well supported by experienced nursing staff and a practice manager.
The practice offers a varied caseload. Applicants should be hardworking, willing to work in a team, have a positive attitude and be committed to providing the highest standard of care. The practice allows for 20-minute consults as standard, with longer appointments available for different cases.
The practice boasts state-of-the-art vetscalpel surgical co2 laser, along with a full suite of in-house IDEXX pathology units and imagyst pathology. They have a dedicated dental suite and x-ray room where they can offer digital imaging including dental radiography, ultrasound, video endoscopy, laser therapy.
Professional development and special interests are encouraged. Generous continuing education allowances are provided, including the course fees and where applicable, and accommodation and travel expenses are covered.
The practice is located at the gateway to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, close to beaches and wineries as well as the city of Melbourne.
