A companion animal vet is required to join a dedicated and experienced 4 vet team in the Manawatu region.
This privately owned practice offers high quality care to its patients and clients, and is well-equipped with the latest in modern technology. The owner of the practice has over 35 years of experience and has been a fixture in the community for many years.
This is a full time position (37 hours per week) that can be negotiated to your preferred working days. The clinic is open 7 days per week, 8 AM – 6 PM Monday – Friday and 9 AM – 4 PM Saturday and Sunday. Vets generally work a 4 day week. The weekend work is shared.
The successful applicants will be happy to do general routine soft tissue surgery and consultations. The caseload is varied across medical, surgical and emergency patients.
The clinic has a full surgical suite, computerised radiography and IM3 dentistry equipment. There is also access to high quality internal and external laboratory facilities, as well as specialist ultrasound services.
There are no after hours. All after hours and complex cases are referred to nearby clinics.
