This is a four vet team with three vets on each day as well as a large, experienced nursing team who provide excellent support. Surgery and dental rosters are shared between all vets, but the practice is open to taking on a consulting only veterinarian.
This is a full or part time opportunity. Full time rosters include a weekday off each week, and every second Saturday. Part time hours are flexible.
The team have a passion for surgery and helping other improve their skills, from mentoring recent grads in simple procedures through to Lateral Fabella cruciate repair and patella surgeries, as well as thyroid removal and anal gland removal surgeries.
The practice is well equipped with a recently renovated and extended premises, three consult rooms, a separate cat waiting area, a large dog ward, a dedicated imaging room with digital x-ray, dental x-ray and ultrasound as well as a sterile surgery and a non-sterile treatment room. There is also a large veterinary office and nurse station, well situated in the hub where it all happens!
Clinic opening hours at 8 AM – 7 PM Monday – Friday and 8 AM – 1 PM on Saturdays. Break times are blocked off in the daily schedule to allow for case follow-up and research.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
