A veterinarian is required to join a friendly and collaborative team in a well-established, high-quality practice located in the Hunter region of New South Wales.
The position will see you working as part of a team that prioritises patient welfare, teamwork, and a healthy work-life balance. The practice fosters a supportive workplace with structured lunch breaks, an emphasis on staff well-being, and is actively working towards AVA Employer of Choice accreditation.
The clinic is purpose-built and fully equipped with state-of-the-art ultrasound, digital body and dental x-ray imaging, and in-house diagnostics. With a longstanding, loyal client base, many owners are committed to providing top-tier veterinary care for their pets.
Vets are supported by highly skilled nurses, ensuring a high nurse-to-vet ratio and excellent assistance. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of cases while receiving mentorship and guidance as needed. The practice encourages continuous skill development and open communication, providing an environment where you can grow and excel in your passion.
Position Details:
– Hours: 2-4 days per week, plus one Saturday morning every fortnight
– No after-hours (all emergencies referred)

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
