A small but busy practice in Sydney’s southern suburbs requires a veterinary nurse to join their highly regarded and award winning team.

The successful candidate will be suitably qualified (Certificate IV) and a team player with great people skills and most importantly a love of furry friends.
DUTIES will include:
– Assisting with consultations, examination, treatment and reception;
– Care of hospitalised animals and assistance with coordination of patient admissions and discharges;
– Surgery prep, anaesthetic/patient monitoring and post op care/medication;
– Sample collection and testing;
– Experience in Radiography and Ultrasound.
The practice is well-established for over 14 years, has a loyal clientele and has been awarded for best animal care in the area multiple times.
The clinic is well equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, in-house blood analysis, Ultrasound, Im3 Dental Suite, tonometry, doppler blood pressure and Vision VPM software.
The veterinary nurses support two highly experienced veterinarians, who work together with the nurses extremely well as a team providing a high level of veterinary care.
The team pride themselves on practicing excellent medicine and providing great support for their customers (both furry and human). They also provide ongoing support for several rescue organisations.
The practice is located in the southern suburbs of Sydney, very close to the M5 and railway station, just 15 kms from Sydney’s CBD.
