Would you like to work as part of a great team at a privately owned clinic in Perth's southern suburbs?

An exciting opportunity is available for a part-time or full-time veterinary nurse to join a high-quality, purpose-built veterinary hospital. A recent Veterinary Surgeons Board inspection classified it as one of the top 10% of practices in the state. The successful applicant will work with a very collaborative team and see an interesting and varied caseload. The practice clients appreciate the care given to their pets.

The hospital is a locally owned independent practice operating since 2015. It is situated 30km south of Perth CBD near the coast. The hospital was purpose built six years ago and is well equipped with digital x-ray, a new Omega MyLab ultrasound machine, Zeiss digital microscope with camera, in-house blood machines, dog, cat and isolation wards and a designated surgical theatre. To keep things interesting the practice enjoys regular visits from a small animal surgeon and also an ultrasonographer.

They are a growing team and would love to employ a qualified and experienced veterinary nurse who enjoys interacting with clients as they practice a high standard of nursing care. The practice enjoys solid trusting relationships with their clients who really appreciate excellent customer service whilst still maintaining a friendly down to earth attitude. They have a very supportive and enjoyable working environment with an experienced team of six veterinarians and ten veterinary nurses.

Renumeration is well above the award and Saturday is paid at time and a half for the whole day and Sunday at double time. The vet nursing registration fee is paid by the practice, and CPD is encouraged and subsidised.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Ideally, a minimum of 2 years' experience but recent graduates will also be considered.

- Be passionate about their career and have a positive attitude.

- A team player with a great sense of humour.

- Well developed communication and organisational skills.

- Outstanding customer service skills and enjoy interacting with clients.

This is an ideal position for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy beachside living at its best!
