A part-time position is available for a qualified and experienced vet nurse at a boutique, privately owned practice in the inner suburbs of Melbourne.
The successful candidate will work two to three days per week, plus one in four Saturdays. No Sundays, public holidays, or after-hours shifts are required.
This role will suit a warm, friendly, and personable vet nurse who enjoys working in a busy environment. The ideal candidate should be a team player who can also work independently when required.
The successful applicant will do a mix of surgical and hospital shifts, nurse consultations and reception work.
Shift times include:
– Surgical shifts: 8 AM – 4 PM
– Hospital shifts: 8:30 AM – 6:15 PM
– Reception shifts: 8 AM – 2 PM or 1 PM – 6 PM
– Saturday shifts: 8 AM – 3 PM

The clinic is well-equipped with digital x-ray (general and dental), ultrasound, endoscope, PRP, a dental machine, vetome, panoptic, tonopen, in-house pathology, and comprehensive general anaesthetic monitoring, including capnography, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, doppler, and app alerts, all supported by dedicated manual monitoring.
