About the Role
The clinic is seeking a veterinary nurse with excellent nursing skills, a solid understanding of nursing procedures, and a can-do attitude. Confidence in monitoring anaesthesia is a plus, and experience with Ezyvet software is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
– General nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, emergency and critical care, and pathology
– Monitoring anaesthesia
– Taking x-rays, placing cannulas, administering medications, triaging emergencies, performing basic clinical exams, and nurse consults
– Calculating drug doses and fluid rates
– Writing clinical notes and patient histories
– Processing payments and billing
– Answering phone calls and assisting with client communication
– Sharing animal husbandry knowledge and skills
– Maintaining cleanliness in hospital areas
