Vet Nurse Position in Melbourne - 212,393MH

A well-established, quality practice in Melbourne is looking for an experienced veterinary nurse to join their team.

The team consists of 3 vets, 2 other nurses and 2 receptionists. They are a friendly and supportive group who are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of their patients. Professional development is encouraged, and you will have an opportunity to work alongside and learn from visiting specialist surgeons.

This role is a true clinical nursing role with surgical, hospital and consulting room work. A nurse who is happy to run the clinic's puppy preschool will be highly favoured, however, it is not essential. There will be some reception duties involved in the evenings.

Full time hours entail a 4-day work week plus every second Saturday. You will work an average of 36 hours per week. Practice opening hours are Monday - Friday 8 am - 7 pm, and Saturdays 9 am - 1 pm. The practice is closed on Sundays. Shifts are either 8 am - 6 pm or 9 am - 7 pm. There is a dedicated 1-hour lunch break.

The practice is well-equipped, including in-house bloods, digital x-ray, and dental machine and is fully computerised using Ezyvet software.

Located in a leafy suburb southeast of Melbourne, the practice is on a tram line and has many beautiful shops, cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance.
