A practice in Adelaide is currently seeking a Certificate IV-qualified veterinary nurse to join the team for overnight shifts, providing solo patient care at a well-equipped hospital.
About the Role:
– Overnight shift hours: 9 pm to 7 am, caring for hospitalised patients independently
– Monitoring, medicating, and attending to animals as required throughout the night
– Communicating updates and patient records to the day team
– Maintaining a clean and safe environment for all patients and staff
About You:
– Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent Veterinary technician or Veterinary qualification)
– Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting
– Confident working solo during overnight hours
– Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations
– Genuine passion for animal welfare
– You must be trustworthy and able to provide references upon request
