A small animal practice on Queensland’s Gold Coast has a current vacancy for a vet nurse to join them in either a purely reception role or a vet nursing position with some reception.

This position is flexible to be either full or part-time with a minimum of 22 hours per week. 1 in 4 weekends are required for a full-time role, and 1 in 2 for part-time. Saturday shifts are 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

For a reception-only role, the shifts are either 8 am to 6 pm or 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

For a vet nursing role (with some reception), the shifts are 8 am to 6 pm, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm or 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

The practice is a proud member of Independent Vets of Australia. The clinic is privately owned and family-operated.

The team understand that strong client connections result in great patient outcomes and pride themselves on providing warm, compassionate care to everyone who enters.

They practice high-quality veterinary medicine and surgery. Equipment includes digital x-ray, ultrasound, and ABAXIS in-house pathology machines.

A specialist surgeon visits the practice to carry out complex soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery.
