An exciting opportunity has become available for a veterinary nurse to join a team of professionals at a busy hospital in Sydney’s Inner West.
The successful applicant will join a large, friendly team of vets, qualified nurses, practice managers and administration staff who are committed to delivering excellent patient care and customer service.
Applicants must be qualified with a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
The experienced team of vets have special interests in surgery, orthopaedics, behaviour, small animal medicine and ECC, so you will be exposed to an exciting and wide range of cases. They have a high surgical caseload and perform everything from routines to complex procedures such as brachycephalic airway surgery, TTA’s and TPLO’s.
Candidates will have a sound knowledge of surgical nursing, along with competency in medical nursing and the ability to work unsupervised as required.
The practice is well-appointed and boasts modern facilities, systems and equipment that includes Smartflow and RX Works software, a complete IDEXX in-house lab, digital radiography, pulse oximetry, stem cell therapy, IM3 dental, including x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope and full orthopaedic surgical equipment.
The practice is located in Sydney’s west, close to public transport, and will allow you to explore an exciting range of attractions, from restaurants and bars to theatres, clubs and shops.
