This is more than a routine nursing position; it is a chance to be part of a high-functioning team making a real difference. In addition to supporting surgical procedures, the veterinary nurse will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the clinic. Clear and empathetic communication with pet owners is essential, particularly when explaining treatment plans and providing post-care instructions to ensure the best possible outcomes.

The role also involves mentoring and supporting fellow team members, contributing to a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Working closely with veterinarians and other clinic staff, the nurse will help to optimise workflows and maintain a high standard of care across all services.

Maintaining adequate stock levels and ensuring that medical records are accurate and up-to-date will also form part of the daily responsibilities, supporting the overall effectiveness and professionalism of the practice.
