An exciting opportunity has become available for a veterinary nurse to join a large team at a busy hospital in Melbourne’s north!
The successful applicant will be a qualified vet nurse with at least 2 years’ experience.
This role involves a mix of GP and emergency work. There are no reception duties.
You will work as part of an experienced team offering general practice, specialist medicine and emergency services. You will not be bored working at this practice!
The nursing team are helpful, experienced, competent and well-qualified.
The practice is comprised of a large central hospital, specialist medical and surgical referral centre, and emergency centre.
They are very well equipped, with equipment including endoscopy, ultrasound, ventilators and radiology. An in-house IDEXX laboratory is available, but the practice also makes extensive use of veterinary pathology services. Clinics are computerised and networked to a central database using RxWorks.
The employer is willing to assist with a work visa (employer sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates.
The practice is located approximately 40 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD. It is located on a tram line and is within easy walking distance of local shops and cafes.
