An opportunity has become available for an exceptional veterinary nurse to join the team at a practice in the Southland Region.

This full-time position can be permanent or a fixed-term contract.

The successful applicant will report to the head nurse. You will be passionate about providing quality care, have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, have a positive can-do attitude and be efficient and calm under pressure.

To apply for this position, applicants must possess the following:

- A Certificate IV or Diploma in Veterinary Nursing.

- Excellent knowledge of clinical nursing skills.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

The clinic is spacious with purpose-built facilities. It houses surgical operating rooms, modern dental machines, large treatment rooms, multiple consult rooms, x-ray machine, auto-processor, SA ultrasound set up, endoscope, Vetscan, Dopplers and pulse ox.
