Vet Nurse Job in Melbourne - 209,619SB2

LOCATION: South East Melbourne, Victoria

TYPE OF WORK: 100% Small Animal

HOURS: Full or Part Time

SALARY: Well above award

JOB NO: 209,619SB2

A well-established, newly renovated practice in southeast Melbourne is seeking a vet nurse to join their passionate and friendly team.

Whether you’re recently qualified or an experienced nurse seeking a new opportunity, they would love to welcome you to their clinic.

If you have many years of vet nursing experience under your belt and want to mentor and share your experience, a lead vet nurse position will be considered.

The employer will cover your VNCA membership. CPD is always strongly encouraged.

And, of course, you will be remunerated at well above award rates.

About you:

– You will be a great communicator

– The position requires confident veterinary nursing skills

– Demonstrate strong anaesthetic management skills

– You should possess a clear mind for detail and organisation

– You must have a proven ability to follow a process and deliver tasks on time.

– You should be someone who is prepared to step forward and make a real contribution and complement this devoted team.

– Possess Certificate IV in veterinary nursing (or equivalent)

You will be supported with modern equipment to enable you to deliver the health care that the clients expect.

A little bit more about the role:

– Your time will be split between medical nursing, surgical nursing and nursing in the consulting room.

– Great news! There is minimal reception work as dedicated customer care staff members handle this.

– Full or part-time hours are available. A full-time role would be 35-38 hours per week.

– There is no after-hours work, so you know when you are off, it’s real downtime.

The practice is located in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. It is an easy drive to enjoy the beach, the Dandenong Ranges or the Mornington Peninsula for a lazy Sunday lunch.

Vetlink is a free service for job seekers.
