A clinic located in Melbourne’s inner suburbs is seeking an experienced nurse to join their team.
This is a full time position.
The successful applicant will have a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent, as well as a minimum of 4 years’ experience. The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates.
The role consists of a range of veterinary nursing duties, including patient care, advanced monitoring of anaesthetics, placement of IV catheters and nurse consults. There is minimal reception work required.
There is a high nurse to vet ratio at the practice. Each day there are six nurses and three vets rostered on. The nurses are very involved in the running of the practice.
The ideal nurse will be calm, helpful and work well with other members of their harmonious team.
