An independently owned two-branch practice in a large coastal town in North Queensland has a position available for a veterinary nurse.
This full or part-time role is 30 to 37 hours per week (average 35 hours per week). There is some shared weekend work involved.
The position would be well suited to an experienced vet nurse. Applicants must have completed their Certificate IV in Vet Nursing (or equivalent). The clients are used to warm and personal care, so awesome customer service skills and fantastic patient care are essential. If you are a committed, reliable veterinary nurse with a ‘can do’ attitude and good attention to detail, then this practice would love to hear from you.
What you will need to excel in this position:
– Previous experience in a Veterinary Clinic essential
– Certificate IV in Vet Nursing is essential
– Strong customer service skills and experience
– Friendly, outgoing disposition with a good sense of humour
– Ability to remain calm under pressure
– Confident computer skills
– Must be patient, considerate and empathetic
– Hard-working, reliable, organised
