A position has become available at a well-established referral centre in Brisbane. The hospital accepts referrals in all aspects of surgery, internal medicine, oncology, dermatology and reproduction.
The practice is seeking an experienced, compassionate, enthusiastic, hard-working vet nurse with high technical skills to join their surgery team.
This is a full-time role. The successful applicant will rotate through varied shifts and on-call duties.

The successful candidates will have:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology.
- A minimum of 1 years' paid experience as a veterinary nurse, post-qualifying.
- A passion for providing excellent patient care and a drive for continuing education.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the practical application of veterinary nursing procedures.
- Confidence in monitoring anaesthesia.
- A friendly, easy-going nature and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, flexible with work hours.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently provide a high quality of patient care, even in busy conditions.
Applicants with prior experience in an emergency or specialist hospital and knowledge of Cornerstone, IDEXX and Smart Flow will be highly regarded. However, this is not essential.
Ideally, this role is for an immediate start. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
