The start date is flexible. Both experienced vets and new/recent graduates are welcome to apply. The hours can be full or part-time.

The team consists of 8-9 experienced vets. A great team of vet nurses supports vets. One of the current vets has memberships in surgery; other vets have special interests in behaviour and medicine.

The clinic has the latest equipment, including dental x-ray and Vetquip Dental Unit, DR digital x-ray, blood pressure monitor, tonopen, ECG, spO2 and microscopes. There is also a brand new MyLab Ultrasound, making it perfect for vets with an interest in imaging.

As well as having great equipment, the employers at this practice work on non-tangible things as well. They are currently a Lincoln Institute clinic, and all the vets participate in the Leading Edge Course, which helps vets achieve better success inside and outside the clinic and a happier and more fulfilling career.

CVE and VIN memberships included along with four weeks of paid holiday leave and one week of paid continuing education leave.

The after-hours calls are screened to ensure vets are only interrupted if it is an emergency (which has significantly reduced their call-outs). The after-hours roster is approx. 1-2 in 14 weeknights and 1 in 4 weekends on call.

The ideal candidate should be compassionate, motivated and be able to work well within the team.

Located within a beautiful city, there is no shortage of things to do in your downtime. Snow, lakes, beaches and mountains are all within an hours drive. The area is a vibrant hub for food, wine, culture, and nature.
