A rare opportunity has become available for a veterinarian with at least some experience with exotics to join a multi-clinic, small animal practice in Hong Kong.
The role is primarily small animal medicine and surgery with some exotics work.
The successful applicant will enjoy a busy and diverse caseload. The position is suited to a capable veterinary surgeon wishing to hone their skills. The practice sees rabbits, hamsters, turtles and more!
Post-graduate training, qualifications and/or experience in exotic animal medicine would be highly desirable, although those currently training in this field are also encouraged to apply.
The practice employs over 25 veterinarians and a large team of vet nurses as well as customer service and support staff.
The hospital is very well equipped, with an in-house laboratory, state of the art digital radiography, Doppler ultrasound, ECG, endoscopy/bronchoscopy, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, separate dog, cat and exotics wards and three consulting room. They have recently added an underwater treadmill for rehabilitation.
They offer a full range of services, from preventative medicine to a 24-hour emergency service and a full range of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. In addition, they have critical care facilities and an isolation ward. There is also behavioural consultations twice a week.
In-house CPD is provided, and special interests are encouraged.
