A mixed practice on the edge of the North York Moors is seeking a vet to join the team.

The varied caseload and support structure means the team can support vets at all stages of their careers. As such, both experienced vets and recent graduates with a minimum of 6 months' experience are welcome to apply.

The role can be mixed practice or 100% small animal.

The fun and friendly team is made up of over 20 vets and 16 RVNs spanning across three practices. The practice has a range of experienced colleagues, including certificate holders, previous new graduates and vets that have been with them for many years. The practice is very social, with a strong, supportive, and welcoming team.

The ideal vet will be dynamic and passionate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Applicants should be driven and be happy to work as part of a close and friendly team.

Vets have access to all of the usual equipment, with the employer continually investing to make sure the team can work to a high standard. The employer is very keen to develop the team and believes in investing in skills and progression, including support and funding for certificates and further qualifications

SMALL ANIMAL ROLE:

Vets work two, three or four days per week between 8:30 am - 6 pm. There is one 7 pm finish per week and 1:4 Saturday mornings. No OOH or bank holiday work required. Flexible work options available if needed.

MIXED PRACTICE ROLE:

A mixed practice role could be a 50/50 split with 2 small animal days and 2 farm days, to include a share of either the OOH farm work or small animal Saturday, however, if you are looking for a more weighted farm to small (or vice versa) opportunity, the employer is happy to discuss options.

The package includes:

- Salary between £34,000 and £65,000 p.a. for a full-time role depending on experience.
