An excellent opportunity for a veterinarian has become available at a well-established, busy practice in the eastern suburbs of Sydney.
The practice is seeking a vet with at 1-2 years experience or more who has a strong client focus, is great at communicating, but above all has a great sense of humour!
You will be supported by a highly dedicated and highly trained team of nurses and vets who have all been handpicked for their warmth, kindness and care for one another. The team provides patients with superb medical and surgical care, and they work together in an encouraging and collaborative environment.
The experienced vet team has wide variety of special interests, including ultrasound, radiology, ophthalmology, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, medicine and dermatology. The employer strongly encourages and supports continuing education.
The loyal clientele are well-positioned to give their pets the best possible care. They have the means and desire to invest in the gold standard care that most vets only dream of. This allows the team to make a real difference in the lives of the patients and their families.
This role has the flexibility to be full or part time. Full time vets typically work four days per week.
Sponsorship (work permit) is available for suitable overseas vets. Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible to register with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of New South Wales.
The practice sees an interesting and varied caseload. It is very well-equipped, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house pathology, dental machine, endoscope, ECG and more.
This practice is located in an affluent eastern suburb of Sydney and is only a five-minute walk to the beach. It’s is a family-friendly area with good public transport links. Sydney’s harbour and other beaches are within easy access, and there is a variety of outdoor activities to enjoy on your days off.
