Looking to join a well-established practice with a good reputation in the community? Want to work alongside an experienced and friendly team? A rare opportunity has become available for a veterinarian to join a passionate team at their independently owned practice.

The team pride themselves on their gold standard approach to patient care, which is affirmed by its loyal client base.

The successful candidate will join a 3.5 FTE vet team and work alongside seven RVNS, two SVNs and five receptionists. There is also a visiting surgeon, as well as a visiting echocardiologist and ophthalmologist.

Special interests and continued education are highly encouraged. The practice has supported many vets through certificates.

There is the opportunity to partake in a small portion of Zoo work if desired. The practice looks after a local wildlife park.

This is a well-equipped clinic with digital radiography, a dental machine and dental radiography, in house bloods, ultrasound and endoscope.

The practice is split into two branches: the main practice and a smaller branch clinic. The branch clinic is utilised as a vaccination clinic and is not open on weekends.

Opening hours:

Weekdays: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm

Saturday: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Closed on Sundays

The successful applicant will, ideally, work four shifts a week and 1:4 Saturdays. There will be three early shifts (9:00 am to 5:30 pm) and one late shift (10:00 am to 7:00 pm) a week.

Accommodation is available (a flat above the branch practice).

Salary is up to £60,000 per annum plus accommodation, depending on experience.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent).

The practice is located in a historic village. It is a family-friendly area close to woodlands, and London is less than an hour away by car. It is the best of both worlds!
