A four-branch group in Scotland requires a veterinary surgeon to join their friendly, social team of vets, nurses and support staff.
This is a busy small animal practice providing the ideal opportunity to use your veterinary skills to the full. The practice has a full range of surgical and medical facilities, and they are also a Veterinary Nursing training practice. The main site is an RCVS Practice Standards Scheme Accredited Small Animal Practice.
The practice is looking to employ a team player, ideally with at least 2 years of experience. Someone who likes to join in on social events as well as engage with clients. They are looking for a good communicator who has empathy with clients and their pets and a passion to extend their range of experience. The practice plays an active role in the local community and takes great pride in the amount of positive client feedback they receive.
The main site includes three consulting rooms in addition to a spacious surgical suite with everything you would expect, including both dental and digital radiography.
The successful applicant will work a 4 day week, including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. There is no on call duty or out of hours.
Personal development is actively encouraged, and the practice is willing to support specialist areas of interest or help broaden your depth of knowledge. Equally, mentoring support is available for those who have recently graduated both through the RCVS VetGDP scheme and their own Graduate Development program.
