A position has become available for a small animal veterinarian to join a fantastic team in Surrey. This supportive practice has a high staff retention rate, so this is a rare opportunity you won’t want to miss!
This RCVS-accredited first-opinion practice has a team of two vets and a great proactive nursing team. The nursing team is highly supportive, running their own clinics, whilst the local hospital works with the clinic to allow excellent internal referrals.
The position can be either full-time or part-time, working 20 to 40 hours per week with no OOHs or weekend shifts. The shift pattern and hours are negotiable. The employers strongly advocate work-life balance, hence the flexibility in hours and shifts. They appreciate that everyone deserves a life outside of work, whether that be children, extended family, hobbies, sports or other commitments.
The practice is set in a beautiful converted barn, with two consult rooms, a full operating theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound and in-house lab machines. Vets get to operate daily and have time set aside for calls, with appointments saved for ‘on the day’ emergencies.
Benefits of the role include:
– Salary of up to £65,000 per annum (pro rata, based on 40 hrs/week)
