A small group of general practice clinics in Brisbane is seeking a capable, experienced vet to join their team. The practice has a diverse team of vets, veterinary nurses, veterinary technicians, and additional support staff.

The practice is seeking to employ a friendly veterinarian with at least two years of experience who shares their commitment to high-quality care. The role can be either part-time or full-time, with a rotating weekend roster. Ideally, the successful applicant will work across the three clinics, with their day consisting of consultations, medical procedures, and surgeries. There is no after-hours on-call work required.

In addition to clinical duties, the successful applicant will play a key role in mentoring new and recent graduate veterinarians, helping them to develop their skills and integrate into the team.

The practice has a whole suite of high-level equipment, including private consultation rooms, separate surgical theatre, digital x-ray and dental x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory equipment (IDEXX), modern monitoring equipment, RxWorks PMS and much more.

Their service is client-centred – they love the people and the pets and work towards best outcomes for all. They value personal and practice development, and this is supported in the clinic with training, mentorship, and continual advances in clinic equipment and practices.

What is on offer:

– Visa sponsorship + relocation assistance for overseas candidates;

– Novated lease arrangements;

– A unique bonus opportunity;

– Paid Veterinary Board Registration, radiation licence and VIN membership;

– A generous contribution each year towards professional development and one week’s paid study leave;

– Weekly shelter vet workday to service the needs of the local council rehoming centre (shared amongst Vets);

– Flexible rostering – they are a family friendly business;

– Well-established and dedicated client base;

– Support from a qualified, highly skilled team of nurses (they practice team consulting, so there is always a second set of hands in the consult room).
