A practice just 45 minutes from the Melbourne CBD is seeking a small animal veterinarian to expand the team.
This is a permanent full-time role with a four-day workweek. Part-time hours will be considered.
This busy clinic has been part of the local community since 1970. They provide a high standard of health care to a variety of pets, including cats, dogs, birds and reptiles.
There is a strong focus on preventive medicine. The dedicated, expert team use state-of-the-art facilities to better the lives of animals. They offer a comprehensive suite of services, including wellness care, surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics.
You will work closely with a team of passionate vets and nurses in all areas of small animal general practice.
Applicants should have the following:
– A Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or an equivalent degree recognised in Australia.
– A minimum of two years working in a veterinary clinic – both consultative and surgical preferred
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– A calm, compassionate, and professional demeanour
– Great attention to detail
– Exceptional time management
– Be responsible, organised, self-directed and hard-working

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) and relocation costs for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia. Relocation assistance is also on offer.
The clinic is well equipped with a full Idexx in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and a complete surgery and dental unit.
