An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced mixed practitioner to join a dedicated team in Canterbury.

The employer is ideally looking for someone with a strong interest in sheep and beef. An interest in bull testing would be highly regarded. The role also involves basic routine companion animal surgery, consults and work ups.

This is a multi-vet, multi-site clinic. However, the successful applicant will be based at one clinic.

The rota will involve 1 night per week and approximately 1:5 weekends. The on-call will be for large animal emergencies only. The practice split their after-hours emergencies to species aligned.

This is a very supportive environment with CPD encouraged. The employer is looking for someone who enjoys working with a team-oriented approach and working with forward-thinking farmers.

Clinic hours are:

Mon, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

Tues, 8:30 am – 7:00 pm

Wed, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

Thurs, 8:30 am – 7:00 pm

Fri, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

Sat 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Sun 11.00 am – 4.00 pm
