This is a leadership position within the practice's production animal team. The staff work at a high skill level and see a varied and interesting caseload. Sheep, and beef cattle make up the majority, with some horses, deer and working dogs.

Previous experience in a team leadership role, as well as an interest in herd health and disease prevention, is highly desirable but not essential.

The ideal candidate would be comfortable dealing with companion animal after-hours emergency cases. Weeknight after-hours duties are shared with two other vet clinics (Monday to Thursday evenings) on a 2 weeks on/4 weeks off basis. Weekend duties (Friday to Monday) are currently 1:6 weekends.
