A position has become available for a companion animal vet to join a well-established 2 vet-practice in Auckland.

The practice is four years young and has quickly become a much loved fixture in the community.

This is a full time or part time role. There is some flexibility in the hours to be worked. Practice opening hours are 8 AM - 6 PM Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 3 PM Saturdays, closed on Sundays and public holidays.

The successful applicant will work closely with an experienced team, who can offer support and assist with a seamless transition into the new role. The team is currently made up of 2 vets, 4 vet nurses and a Team Leader (one of the nurses), who manages the nursing team.

The team are eager to support and encourage special interests, and are keen to help the right applicant learn new skills in house, such as TTA, BOAS surgeries, dentistry and a range of soft-tissue surgeries.

The clinic is well-resourced for routine procedures, including an IM3 dental machine, dental CR set up, digital DR X-rays, in house blood analyser and more. The practice offers extended consult times for thorough workups and cat-friendly waiting areas and hospital rooms.

New graduates and experienced vets are welcome to apply.

Located in a great suburb of Auckland, this area has plenty to offer. The CBD can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. There are excellent road and rail links to explore the city and rural outskirts from the practice.
