A two-site practice in the Manawatu-Whanganui region of New Zealand has an opportunity available for a companion animal vet.
This is a part time maternity leave position to start in July 2025 for 7 months. The successful applicant will work 3 days per week – ideally, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
You will be joining a passionate and experienced five-vet team working between two branches to deliver gold standard patient care.
Duties include routine soft tissue surgery as as well as medicine cases. The successful applicant will be well supported by a highly skilled team of nurses.
Clinic opening hours are:
Monday – Friday: 8am – 5:30pm
Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm
Closed on Sundays
The well-equipped practice is located close to a number of beautiful gardens, upmarket shops and cafes, arts, giftware, antiques and unique shops. The Manawatu-Whanganui Region is known for its mountains and rainforests. With multiple hiking tracks in the area, it’s a great location for exploring.
