Vet Job in Melbourne - 212,456MH

A rare opportunity has arisen for a veterinarian at a privately-owned, ASAVA accredited practice in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs.

The practice would consider full time, part time or casual hours for the right applicant. This role is suitable for a candidate who can commit to a permanent position, or a 6-month contract.

This is large multi-vet team who are supported by dedicated and experienced nursing staff.

Full-time vets work a 4 day work week with approximately 1 in 4 Saturdays. The practice is closed on Sundays, and Saturday hours are 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Once a week, vets receive a paid, 2 hour early leave, as well as a 3 day weekend whenever possible following a rostered Saturday shift.

The clinic closes once a month for staff to attend in-house training. Study leave, a CPD allowance and paid AVA membership are also provided.

Applicants should:

- Have at least 18 month's experience

The hospital is well-equipped with in-house pathology, digital radiology ultrasonography, orthopaedic equipment, multiple dental stations, dental radiology, ECG, state-of-the-art anaesthetic monitoring equipment and offers PRP, IRAP, radioactive iodine and stem cell therapy.

Located in South East Melbourne, the area has easy access to amenities, parklands, restaurants and cafes. Melbourne's CBD can be reached in just under 50 minutes.
