Vets at the practice have experience levels ranging from 5 to 20 years out, and they all love sharing their knowledge.
The practice can offer flexible working arrangements. They are family-friendly and supportive of parents returning to work. Saturdays are half days which are rotated (1:4 rota). There are no after-hours required.
Your days working at this practice will run as smoothly as possible. Vets have sufficient consult times, time set aside to complete notes and call-backs, plus allocated lunch breaks.
Mobile surgical and medicine specialists visit the hospital to assist with case management and diagnostics. The visiting specialists love teaching, so this is a great opportunity for you to grow and learn from them.
Generous remuneration is on offer, along with ongoing training and development This includes a CE allowance of $2,000 p.a. and one week’s study leave per year. The employers value mental health and have a free Employee Assistance Program for their team.
This state-of-the-art hospital is well-equipped with digital x-ray and ultrasound, iM3 dental suite with CR7 dental x-rays, full in-house pathology and electrocautery.
The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
