Do you have an interest in surgery? A well-established, privately-owned practice in Sydney's southwest is looking for an enthusiastic vet to join the team.

The practice owner has memberships in medicine and is also a very capable surgeon. If you have special interests, the owner is happy to invest in necessary equipment. They are very supportive and encourage continuing education and career development.

There is flexibility for this role to be full or part-time and will see you working within a close-knit team. The practice has a low staff turnover; some staff members have been there for over 11 years, 8 years and 4 years.

Clinic hours are 9 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday, and 9 am to 4 pm on Saturdays. The clinic is closed on Sundays, and no after-hours are required making for a great work-life balance.

The clinic is well-equipped with digital x-ray, in-house IDEXX pathology, ultrasound, IM3 dental, pulse ox, blood pressure monitor and more!

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

The practice is located just under an hour west of the Sydney CBD, in a great neighbourhood close to parklands and shopping centres.
