A truly mixed, privately-owned, purpose-built practice near the coast of South Australia is open to hearing from experienced vets with a keen interest in mixed practice. This is a great position for a vet who wants to sink their teeth into a high-quality, progressive mixed practice with opportunities to climb the ladder.

The practice presents a laid-back lifestyle. The ratio of small to large animal work will depend upon your strengths and interests. The current mix of work is approximately 60% small animal, 30% beef and sheep and 10% equine/other.

The successful applicant will work a 9-day fortnight. Shift times are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. There is minimal after-hours work, with a 1 in 4 weekend commitment required. You will be generously rewarded for on-call work plus payment for travel time.
