A position has become available for a vet to join a mixed practice on the stunning mid-north coast of New South Wales. This well-established practice has been caring for animals for over 40 years. The team provide care to both small and large animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, birds, snakes, lizards and wildlife. As well as this, the practice also runs a rural clinic off-site for large animals, including horses, cattle, goats and alpacas, making it a perfect role to gain experience in all facets of mixed practice.

The team are looking for someone with great communication skills and a positive, friendly, can-do attitude. The state-of-the-art hospital is purpose-built with cat-friendly facilities, fully equipped examination rooms, diagnostic machines and pharmaceutical stores.

The practice will cover the cost of your Veterinary Practitioners Board Registration, Radiation License and VIN membership as well as provide a generous CPD allowance. This position also provides an exclusive bonus/equity opportunity.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia. Relocation assistance is also available.

The practice is located in a beautiful coastal town on the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales. The area boasts amazing natural surrounds along with great fishing, water activities, hinterland, bush walks, arts and much more. There are good health care facilities, schooling and all the other amenities you may need. It is a convenient 30-minute drive from Port Macquarie, and Sydney can be reached in just under four hours!
