A practice in a stunning part of New Zealand is searching for an additional veterinarian to join their team. The team is expanding from 4 vets to 5.

This is an independent clinic that was established less than 2 years ago. Their aim is to bring new skills and services to the region. They already offer a range of referral and specialist services, as well as first opinion general practice. They work alongside many local animal charities assisting them with desexing campaigns and shelter work. All 4 of their current vets are pursuing their own passions and developing new services for the clinic. They already offer; Referral orthopaedics, Advanced reproduction work including TCI, Acupuncture, Hip & Elbow scoring, BOAS surgery and other referral soft tissue surgeries.

The practice has all the usual equipment you would expect to find in a modern clinic plus a few extras such as Imagyst, Signalpet and Phovia.

The role is for a full time veterinarian, but part time would also be considered, working a 1 in 5 rota with a vet nurse.

On offer: a generous salary and CPD allowance, private health care and a fantastic, highly skilled, supportive team. NZVA, VCNZ fees are paid and a relocation allowance is available.

This is a new position to enable the clinic to maintain their exceptional standard of care as they grow. It would suit someone with ambition and a desire to develop professionally. This is the opportunity to find a balance between a satisfying and supported role, whilst having time to enjoy this stunning location.

Any advert for a position in this region would not be complete without emphasizing the beautiful location, the watersports, the beaches, the great climate and the exciting growth this area is experiencing.
