A wonderful opportunity is available for a veterinarian to join a team of enthusiastic vets and nurses at a first-class practice in far north Queensland.

The successful applicant will have a flexible, adaptable approach with a commitment to gold standard care. Vets should have a passion for pets along with excellent animal handling skills and great organisational, communication and customer service skills.

Daily duties will include delivering personalised and professional care to patients and owners, the handling and treating of animals, regular consults, routine surgery and more.

This purpose-built clinic is well-equipped, including ultrasound, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, endoscope, ultrasonography, in-house pathology and state-of-the-art theatre facilities and a full surgery conducting general and orthopaedic surgery.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia. Relocation and migration support is provided for international vets.
