A position has arisen for a full or part-time veterinarian at a practice on the Central Coast of New South Wales.

The role will see the successful applicant work alongside the very experienced practice owner who has special interests that include orthopaedics, dermatology, general surgery and wildlife care. Vets at the practice are supported by a team of helpful nurses. Nurses assist vets with bloods, x-rays, typing up histories and more.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills along with the ability to work both independently and within a small team. Vets should be highly committed and driven to provide the best quality care to patients and owners.

Opening hours at the practice are 9 am - 5 pm, making for an excellent work-life balance. No weekends or after-hours are required. The practice is open to flexible shifts and working arrangements.

The practice is well-equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, in-house lab, tonometer, full surgical facilities, infusion pumps, IM3 dental and much more!

Being located in a busy, residential area, there are a large number of companion animals, and there are excellent opportunities to develop your skills within the practice.

The practice is situated on the scenic Central Coast of New South Wales, within walking distance of beautiful beaches and bays. Both Sydney and Newcastle are just a one-hour drive away.
