Would you like a role with no KPI's? A position has arisen for a veterinarian to join a privately-owned practice in Coastal Queensland.

This is an opportunity to work in a city on Queensland's beautiful coast. Nearby is a national park that is home to sea turtles, and offshore is Lady Elliot Island. The region has all the amenities you could want with the added benefit of unlimited outdoor activities on your doorstep. This area offers a laid-back lifestyle and the affordability of living in a regional location.

Both experienced vets and new graduates are welcome to apply.

The successful applicant will join a 3 vet team. Some of the team members have worked at the practice for over 10 years. Vets are well supported by a team of experienced support staff.

The practice is looking for someone who enjoys working with pets and their owners.

Although full time hours are preferred, vets looking for a part-time role will be considered.

The practice is fully equipped with all the toys you could need including in-house pathology, digital x-ray, dental machine and ultrasound.

Vets enjoy a long weekend every third week with another day off during the week in each three week roster. This allows them to make the most of living in this location and all it has to offer!

The team pride themselves on being a part of the local community and have helped thousands of cats, dogs, guinea pigs, birds and even the odd snake.

Clinic opening hours are 8 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and 8 am - 12 pm on Saturdays. No Sundays are required.

Vets at the practice receive one week of paid study leave, with courses and accommodation costs paid.

Located in a city on the cusp of the Southern Great Barrier Reef, just 15 minutes from the beach and around 4.5 hours from Brisbane, there is no shortage of ways to spend your time here!
